Anti-Fer Antibody

The polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is a rabbit-derived, unconjugated primary antibody raised against FER (Feline sarcoma/Ewing sarcoma-related non-receptor tyrosine kinase, ~94 kDa). Supplied as 100 µl of liquid, it is validated for Western blot and ELISA workflows on human and mouse samples, supporting detection of endogenous FER in studies of growth-factor and integrin signaling and of cytoskeletal regulation through FER substrates such as cortactin.

FER is a cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase that participates in cell-cell adhesion, cytokine-driven STAT3 phosphorylation, and membrane-cytoskeleton coupling, and the antibody is used to examine FER expression across cell-line models and primary tissues. Because the antibody is unconjugated, the user selects the appropriate secondary reporter, making the reagent flexible for chemiluminescent immunoblotting and probing of FER immunoprecipitates. Storage at refrigerated temperature is recommended; protect from light and limit freeze-thaw cycles to maintain lot activity across the working shelf life.
