Anti-FDPS Antibody

Raised in rabbit and purified by affinity chromatography against the human FDPS immunogen, this polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as an unconjugated reagent at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4 with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. The antibody specifically detects the endogenous level of total FDPS protein, the dimethylallyltranstransferase (EC 2.5.1.1) involved in isoprenoid biosynthesis, and has been validated for Western blotting and immunohistochemistry in human, mouse, and rat samples. It is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival for long-term storage at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
