The Anti-FCER1A Antibody (FITC) [CRA2] from Antibodies.com is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 reagent that specifically recognizes the alpha subunit of the human high-affinity immunoglobulin E receptor (FCER1A), a transmembrane marker expressed most strongly on mast cells and basophils. Conjugated to fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), the antibody is widely used in flow cytometry to identify, enumerate, and sort FcεRI-positive cells from peripheral blood, cultured lines, and dissociated tissue, and is additionally validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry on frozen and paraffin-embedded sections, and immunocytochemistry.

Supplied as 50 µg of liquid antibody in a single vial, the reagent should be stored refrigerated at 4 °C, protected from light to preserve the FITC fluorophore, and handled under standard immunofluorescence practice including brief centrifugation before use. The CRA2 clone is a reference tool in allergy and immunology research, where it is used to profile mast cell and basophil activation, characterize IgE-mediated signaling in asthma, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, and other type I hypersensitivity disorders, and to confirm FCER1A surface expression on transfected cell lines and primary human leukocytes.
