Anti-FBXO32 Antibody

Produced in rabbit as an unconjugated polyclonal IgG preparation, this primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets FBXO32 (also known as Atrogin-1 or MAFbx), a muscle-enriched F-box protein that serves as the substrate-recognition subunit of an SCF E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. The reagent is supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot and is validated for western blot detection of endogenous FBXO32 in mouse and rat tissue lysates, where it recognizes a band near 40 kDa corresponding to the full-length F-box protein.

Paraffin-embedded tissue sections can also be processed by immunohistochemistry using conventional protocols, extending the antibody's utility to studies of skeletal muscle atrophy, cachexia, disuse-induced muscle wasting, and broader ubiquitin-proteasome pathway regulation. The polyclonal format enables recognition of multiple epitopes on the FBXO32 target, which can be advantageous when probing post-translational modifications or alternative isoforms in research use only workflows.
