Anti-FBL Antibody

A polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com, raised in rabbit, targets Fibrillarin (FBL). It is supplied as a liquid, unconjugated, with an IgG isotype, and validated for Western blotting, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation and ELISA in human, mouse, rat and monkey samples. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 100–321 of human Fibrillarin, and the reagent is purified by affinity chromatography.

The formulation is Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, with a lot-specific concentration. The target's molecular weight is listed as 36 kDa, with a predicted molecular weight of 34 kDa. The antibody is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided. Recommended starting dilutions are WB 1:500–1:2,000, ICC/IF 1:50–1:200, IP 0.5 µg–4 µg antibody for 200 µg–400 µg extracts of whole cells, and ELISA 1 µg/ml (starting concentration).
