Anti-FAS Antibody

This primary antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against FAS (also known as APO-1/CD95), generated by immunizing rabbits with a recombinant human FAS protein and affinity-purified against the immunogen. The unconjugated antibody is supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl aliquot, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. It is intended for use in Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, and it specifically recognizes the endogenous levels of total FAS protein in samples from human, mouse, and rat origin. The host species is rabbit, the clonality is polyclonal, and no fluorophore or enzyme tag has been conjugated, allowing researchers to pair the reagent with their preferred secondary detection system. For shipment the vial is maintained at 4 °C, and on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored long-term at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve antibody activity.
