Anti-FAS Antibody

From the Antibodies.com Primary Antibodies range, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody to FAS. The reagent is raised in rabbit, is of the IgG isotype, and is supplied unconjugated. It has been validated for Western blotting with human, mouse, and rat samples, and the manufacturer recommends a working dilution of 1:500–1:1,000 for WB. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) is also listed among the validated applications.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 61–335 of human Fas (NP_000034.1). The expected molecular weight is 40–50 kDa and the concentration is lot-specific. The antibody is provided as a liquid in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and has been affinity-purified. It ships at 4°C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
