The FANCD2 protein is a central effector of the Fanconi anemia DNA repair pathway, where monoubiquitination at Lys561 is a key molecular marker of pathway activation following interstrand crosslink damage. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com enables detection of endogenous FANCD2 across multiple experimental platforms including western blot, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA-based workflows, with verified cross-reactivity in human, mouse, and rat samples.
Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated rabbit antiserum in a single-use vial, the antibody supports research into genomic stability, BRCA-deficient tumor biology, and the cellular response to crosslinker chemotherapy. Aliquot upon arrival and store at -20°C; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Working dilutions should be titrated per application, with typical western blot conditions resolving the ~166 kDa FANCD2 band clearly after DNA damage induction.
