FAM82A2, also designated RMDN2 (Regulator of Microtubule Dynamics 2), is a microtubule-associated protein involved in regulating microtubule organization and mitotic progression. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets the human FAM82A2 protein and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows. Supplied as a 100 µL liquid aliquot, the reagent supports detection of endogenous FAM82A2 expression across human-derived samples, including cultured cell lysates and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections.

The polyclonal format presents multiple epitope recognition sites, which broadens detection of the target and is useful when working with samples of low abundance or with proteins that have limited immunogenic regions. Researchers investigating spindle assembly, cytoskeletal remodeling, or vesicle trafficking pathways use anti-FAM82A2 antibodies to map protein localization and to characterize interactions with binding partners. In Western blot workflows, the antibody can be applied to whole-cell lysates from human cell lines to confirm a band at the expected molecular weight. For IHC, it enables subcellular localization studies on tissue microarrays and clinical specimens using standard chromogenic or fluorescent detection chemistries.

Because the reagent is supplied unconjugated, it can be paired with a wide variety of enzyme-labeled or fluorophore-labeled secondary reagents matched to the chosen detection system. Aliquoting upon first use and limiting freeze-thaw cycles preserves reagent activity over multiple experiments.
