FAM129A (also known as NIBAN1) is a stress-responsive protein associated with endoplasmic reticulum function, the unfolded protein response, and apoptosis. Phosphorylation at serine 602 is one of several post-translational modifications reported on this protein in cellular stress contexts. This rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent is raised against the FAM129A phospho-S602 epitope and is validated for Western blot detection of the human target, supplied by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody.

The reagent is provided unconjugated in a 200 µl volume. Aliquoting upon receipt is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and storage should follow standard phospho-antibody handling to preserve epitope recognition. Working dilutions should be titrated by the user against phosphorylated versus unmodified control lysates to confirm specificity for the S602 residue. Because the reagent is unconjugated, it pairs with secondary antibodies of the researcher's choice for chemiluminescent or fluorescent Western blot workflows.

Reactivity with human samples has been characterized; cross-reactivity with additional species has not been formally established for this phospho-specific preparation. For research use only.
