Anti-FAK (phospho-Y397) Antibody

Affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com, raised against focal adhesion kinase (FAK) and specific for the phosphorylated form at tyrosine 397. According to the manufacturer, the reagent detects endogenous levels of FAK protein only when phosphorylated at Tyr397, and was generated using a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human FAK as immunogen.

Validated applications are Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), and the antibody is reported to react with human, mouse and rat samples. The host species is rabbit, the clonality is polyclonal, and the reagent is supplied unconjugated.

The product is provided at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2. The antibody has a stated molecular weight of ~125 kDa and a manufacturer-reported purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
