Anti-FAK Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit and specifically recognizes Focal Adhesion Kinase (FAK, also known by the synonyms PTK2, FAK1, FADK 1, p125FAK, pp125FAK, FRNK and PPP1R71). The product is supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot at a working concentration of 1 mg/mL, formulated in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from the human FAK sequence around the non-phosphorylation site of tyrosine 407, and the antibody has been validated to detect endogenous levels of total FAK protein in lysates and tissue sections. Confirmed applications are Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and ELISA, making this reagent suitable for studies of focal-adhesion signaling, cytoskeletal remodeling and integrin-mediated pathways in human, mouse and rat samples.
