Anti-FAK Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this unconjugated primary antibody is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against focal adhesion kinase (FAK, also known as PTK2) and is supplied at 1 mg/ml in a 50 µl volume as a liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen (a synthetic peptide derived from human FAK around the non-phosphorylation site of Y397) and is validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF) and ELISA. The host species is rabbit, the clonality is polyclonal (IgG isotype), the conjugate is unconjugated, and the antibody has been shown to detect endogenous levels of FAK protein in human, mouse and rat samples. For continuous use, the reagent should be stored at -20 °C, where it remains stable for up to one year, and recommended starting dilutions are WB 1:500–1:1000, IHC 1:50–1:100, IF 1:100–1:500 and ELISA 1:10000.
