FADD (Fas-Associated protein with Death Domain) is a cytoplasmic adaptor protein that couples death receptors of the TNF receptor superfamily to caspase-8 activation during extrinsic apoptosis. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against the human FADD target and validated for Western blot detection. Supplied as 100 µl of antibody for standard immunoblotting workflows, the polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes across the human FADD protein, which contains both a death domain and a death effector domain. The unconjugated conjugate status permits pairing with HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-labeled secondary reagents of the user's choice. Researchers studying death receptor signaling, DISC (death-inducing signaling complex) assembly, necroptosis regulation, or chemotherapy-induced apoptosis pathways commonly use anti-FADD antibodies to assess endogenous FADD expression levels, complex formation, and cleavage events in human cell lysates.
