Anti-FADD Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against the Fas-associated death domain protein (FADD), also known as MORT1 and growth-inhibiting gene 3 protein. Supplied as a 50 µL liquid at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, the IgG-class antibody is unconjugated and is validated for ELISA, Western Blot (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples. The immunogen corresponds to a synthesized peptide derived from the human FADD sequence around the non-phosphorylation site of Ser194, allowing the reagent to detect endogenous levels of total FADD protein, as illustrated by Western blot analysis of HeLa cells. The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, ensuring selectivity for the target. The product is shipped at 4 °C and, upon arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
