Anti-FADD Antibody

Raised in rabbits against the Fas-Associated Death Domain (FADD/MORT1) adaptor protein, this polyclonal IgG reagent targets the 23 kDa cytoplasmic mediator that couples Fas/CD95 and other death receptors to caspase-8, propagating the extrinsic apoptosis pathway. The unconjugated antibody recognizes endogenous FADD from human, mouse, and rat samples, enabling cross-species signaling studies.

Validated for Western blot detection of FADD in whole-cell lysates and tissue homogenates, the reagent ships as 200 µl of liquid stock in a single tube and supports immunoblotting of the full-length adaptor as well as the lower-molecular-weight death-effector-domain fragments generated during receptor-mediated apoptosis.
