Anti-FADD Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the endogenous Fas-associated death domain adaptor, this unconjugated polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com selectively detects the ~23 kDa FADD protein in human, mouse, and rat samples. The affinity-purified antibody is supplied as 100 µl of liquid and is validated for western blot analysis of whole-cell lysates, tissue homogenates, and apoptotic model systems.

FADD bridges activated Fas/CD95, DR4, DR5, and TNFR1 death receptors to procaspase-8 within the death-inducing signaling complex (DISC), so reliable detection of the adaptor is essential when mapping extrinsic apoptosis, caspase-8 activation, and receptor-interacting protein kinase 1 (RIPK1)-dependent necroptotic signaling. The unconjugated format allows flexible pairing with anti-rabbit HRP conjugates or fluorophore-labeled secondary antibodies, supporting chemiluminescent or fluorescent blot readouts in cancer cell-signalling and immunology workflows.
