Produced by Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal antibody targets the activated A subunit of coagulation Factor XIII, a transglutaminase that stabilizes fibrin clots through γ-glutamyl–ε-lysine cross-links. The reagent is supplied unconjugated in a 100 µl volume and is reactive with human Factor XIIIa.
Validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows, the antibody is widely used as a marker for dermal dendrocytes in skin research, in studies of placental tissue, and in investigations of megakaryocyte and platelet lineage biology. Because Factor XIIIa is expressed in cells of monocyte and macrophage origin within connective tissue, the reagent is also commonly cited in dermatopathology and wound-healing research.
For handling, aliquot the polyclonal preparation upon arrival and store frozen to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve titer. The unconjugated format allows pairing with secondary reagents such as anti-Rabbit HRP, fluorophore, or biotin conjugates, supporting flexibility across WB, IHC, and IF protocols.
