The F10-1 monoclonal antibody specifically recognizes human coagulation Factor X, a vitamin K-dependent serine protease zymogen that occupies a central position in both the intrinsic and extrinsic coagulation pathways. Upon activation by the Factor VIIa-tissue factor complex (extrinsic pathway) or the Factor IXa-Factor VIIIa tenase complex (intrinsic pathway), Factor X is cleaved to Factor Xa, which assembles with Factor Va on a phospholipid surface to form the prothrombinase complex that converts prothrombin to thrombin.

This unconjugated mouse IgG1 reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µg of lyophilised material in a single vial, intended for research use only in ELISA and Western blot workflows investigating Factor X expression, activation, and regulation. Researchers studying haemostasis, thrombotic disorders, vitamin K metabolism, liver function, or anticoagulant pharmacology can apply this reagent to detect the zymogen and, depending on epitope recognition, monitor processing events relevant to coagulation biology.

The lyophilised format allows ambient shipment and convenient storage; reconstitute in sterile buffer before use, and aliquot to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
