Affinity-purified polyclonal reagent raised in Rabbit against the A subunit of coagulation Factor XIII, the transglutaminase that stabilizes fibrin clots by forming ε-(γ-glutamyl)lysine isopeptide crosslinks during the final stage of the coagulation cascade. The antiserum recognizes the G39 region of the human Factor XIII A chain, allowing detection of both the full-length zymogen and the activated Factor XIIIa form expressed in platelets, monocytes, macrophages, and placental trophoblasts.
