FABP4 (Fatty Acid-Binding Protein 4, also called aP2) is a ~15 kDa intracellular lipid chaperone expressed in mature adipocytes and activated macrophages, where it coordinates fatty acid trafficking, lipid storage, and downstream metabolic signaling. Validated for WB and IHC, the antibody supports research on adipocyte differentiation, obesity-linked insulin resistance, atherosclerosis, and adipose-tissue inflammation.
