Anti-FABP3 Antibody

The unconjugated IgG reagent is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications and shows reactivity with Human and Mouse samples.

The antibody is supplied as a liquid, affinity-purified preparation in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. It was raised against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1-133 of human FABP3 (NP_004093.1), a target with a reported molecular weight of 14 kDa. Recommended working dilutions are WB: 1:500-1:1,000, IHC: 1:50-1:200, and ICC/IF: 1:50-1:200. The product is shipped at 4°C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

FABP3 is an intracellular fatty acid binding protein showing group-enriched expression in heart muscle, skeletal muscle, and tongue, with reported subcellular localisation at the Golgi apparatus, plasma membrane, and focal adhesion sites.
