Fatty Acid Amide Hydrolase (FAAH) is a membrane-bound serine hydrolase that catabolizes the endocannabinoid anandamide and related fatty acid amide signaling lipids, terminating their action at cannabinoid receptors. This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets FAAH for detection in Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows, and it has been validated to react with human, mouse, and rat samples. Each vial contains 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum raised in rabbit, supplied as a liquid aliquot suitable for immunoblotting of cell and tissue lysates as well as fixed-section imaging of FAAH distribution in nervous and peripheral tissues. The polyclonal format expands epitope coverage across the FAAH protein, supporting researchers investigating the endocannabinoid system, neuroinflammation, and pain pathways.
