F13A1 encodes the catalytic A subunit of coagulation Factor XIII, a calcium-dependent transglutaminase that cross-links fibrin monomers to stabilize clots during the terminal phase of hemostasis. Antibodies.com offers this rabbit polyclonal antibody against human F13A1 as an unconjugated reagent supplied in a 100 µl volume, suitable for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows on human tissue and cell-derived samples.

The A subunit of Factor XIII is expressed in platelets, monocytes, macrophages, and osteoblasts, so this reagent is frequently used to investigate wound healing, thrombus stabilization, FXIII deficiency phenotypes, and tissue transglutaminase biology in research contexts. Because it is polyclonal and raised in rabbit, it targets multiple epitopes on the human F13A1 protein, which can be helpful when probing denatured lysates for WB or fixed tissue sections for IHC.

Each aliquot is provided as an unconjugated primary antibody, allowing researchers to pair it with secondary detection reagents of their own choice, including HRP-, biotin-, or fluorophore-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG. Reactivity is reported against human F13A1, and the reagent is intended for research use only.
