Coagulation Factor XII (F12), also known as Hageman factor, is a liver-expressed serine protease zymogen central to the contact activation pathway of the intrinsic coagulation cascade and to the kallikrein–kinin system, where it drives bradykinin release on negatively charged surfaces.

The Antibodies.com rabbit polyclonal anti-F12 reagent targets this protein and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows. Cross-reactivity with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples supports translational studies that span rodent disease models and human tissue specimens.

Supplied as 100 µL of a 1 mg/mL stock in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the unconjugated preparation can be paired with secondary reagents of the researcher's choice. The polyclonal format increases the likelihood of recognizing multiple epitopes along the FXII polypeptide, which is useful when probing cleaved or partially processed forms of the zymogen in thrombosis, contact-pathway, or hereditary angioedema research.
