The Antibodies.com anti-Ezrin/Radixin/Moesin antibody is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against the conserved phosphorylated threonine regulatory motif shared by all three ERM family members. ERM proteins crosslink the actin cytoskeleton to the plasma membrane, and phosphorylation at the corresponding threonine residues (T567 in ezrin, T564 in radixin, T558 in moesin) drives the conformational change that exposes F-actin and membrane-protein binding sites. This reagent specifically recognizes those activated, phosphorylated forms rather than total ERM protein.

Validated for Western blot on human, mouse, and rat samples, the antibody is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. The 100 µl vial supports multiple gel runs and is useful for phospho-ERM signaling studies in cell lysates. For handling, store at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the antibody solution.
