Ezrin is a cytoskeletal linker protein of the ezrin-radixin-moesin family that connects the actin filament network to the plasma membrane and governs processes such as cell shape, adhesion, and cortical organization. This rabbit polyclonal reagent was raised against a region surrounding residue M347 of the human protein and is affinity-purified for research use only.

Supplied as a 100 µl vial of unconjugated IgG at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, the antibody is validated for western blot detection of endogenous ezrin in human, mouse, and rat samples. Its polyclonal format broadens epitope recognition, making it a practical choice for comparative studies of cytoskeletal remodeling, tight junction biology, and signaling pathways that regulate the membrane-actin interface.

For handling, aliquot upon first use to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles and keep refrigerated short-term or store frozen for longer-term preservation; the sodium azide in the buffer suppresses microbial contamination. Provided by Antibodies.com as a ready-to-use liquid reagent for routine immunoblotting workflows targeting ezrin.
