This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com specifically recognizes Ezrin (EZR) when phosphorylated at the tyrosine 353 residue, a key regulatory site located within the C-terminal F-actin binding domain of the protein. Tyrosine 353 phosphorylation is known to be driven by Src family kinases and has been linked to cytoskeletal remodeling, membrane protrusion, and enhanced cell motility in metastatic cancer research.

Ezrin is a member of the ERM (ezrin–radixin–moesin) protein family, which acts as a cross-linker between the plasma membrane and the cortical actin cytoskeleton. Detection of the activated phospho-Y353 form therefore serves as a useful readout in studies of cell adhesion, polarity, invasion, and tumor progression. The unconjugated IgG reagent is supplied as 100 µl and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human and mouse samples, making it a flexible tool for both signaling pathway analysis and tissue localization studies.
