Ezrin (EZR) is a member of the ERM family of membrane–cytoskeleton linkers, and the polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com provides a rabbit-hosted reagent for tracking this protein in western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows.

EZR participates in cell adhesion, cortical morphogenesis, microvillus assembly, and receptor signaling, and altered expression is commonly examined in studies of tumor invasion and metastatic dissemination. The antibody has been validated for reactivity against human and mouse samples, supporting both cell-line analyses and tissue-section work in translational research.

For western blot, the reagent is used to probe full-length ezrin and to assess phosphorylation changes following growth-factor or Rho-GTPase stimulation. In IHC, it allows visualization of ezrin distribution at the apical membrane of epithelial structures and at the leading edge of migratory cells, complementing panels of cytoskeletal markers used in epithelial-mesenchymal transition studies.

The polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes on the target, which can be helpful when probing truncated isoforms or post-translationally modified ezrin. The reagent is supplied unconjugated in a 100 µl vial. Handling: store refrigerated, aliquot upon first use, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity.
