Anti-EZH2 Antibody

Histone methyltransferase EZH2 can be detected with this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com, raised in rabbit against the Enhancer of Zeste Homolog 2 catalytic SET-domain subunit of Polycomb Repressive Complex 2 (PRC2). The unconjugated antibody is supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, supporting chromogenic and fluorescent detection chemistries.

EZH2 deposits the H3K27me3 mark on chromatin, directing epigenetic gene silencing across programmes of X-chromosome inactivation, stem cell self-renewal, lineage commitment, and cell cycle control. The antibody has been validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human, mouse, and rat specimens, producing a band near the expected ~85 kDa molecular weight of full-length EZH2. Common applications include profiling PRC2 activity in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, prostate adenocarcinoma, breast carcinoma, and myelodysplastic syndromes, and mapping H3K27 trimethylation patterns in neural development and cellular reprogramming studies.

Store the vial at -20 °C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light during handling. The glycerol-stabilised formulation is provided for research use only and serves as a primary reagent in indirect immunolabelling workflows without further conjugation.
