EXT2 (Exostosin Glycosyltransferase 2) is a glycosyltransferase essential for chain elongation during heparan sulfate biosynthesis. Loss-of-function mutations in this gene cause hereditary multiple exostoses type 2, and EXT2 has been studied as a tumor suppressor in chondrocyte proliferation. This unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry, with cross-species reactivity covering human, mouse, and rat samples. The reagent is supplied as 100 µl of antiserum at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, allowing direct integration into standard immunodetection workflows or further conjugation. The polyclonal format provides broader epitope coverage for recognizing full-length EXT2 alongside splice variants and partially degraded species. Aliquot on receipt and store frozen at -20 degrees C to limit freeze-thaw cycles; thaw on ice before each use. For research use only.
