Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified by epitope-specific chromatography, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is directed against the EXT1 (Exostosin-1) protein and is supplied at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/ml. The unconjugated antiserum is provided in a 50 µl aliquot formulated in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and the IgG fraction is > 95% pure by SDS-PAGE. The antibody specifically recognises endogenous EXT1 and has been validated for Western Blot (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows, covering the standard ~86 kDa band typically reported for this target. Reactivity has been confirmed in human, mouse and rat samples, and the immunogen corresponds to recombinant full-length human EXT1, supporting broad cross-species utility in exostosis, heparan-sulphate biosynthesis and tumour-related signalling studies. For best stability, the vial should be stored at –20 °C in single-use aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles; small working stocks may be kept at 4 °C for short-term use. Researchers should treat the reagent as research-use only and titrate appropriately for each application, particularly for IHC where antigen-retrieval conditions can strongly influence the membrane-associated staining pattern expected for an EXT1 target. As with all Antibodies.com polyclonal preparations, lot-to-lot consistency is monitored by affinity purification, allowing reliable performance across WB membranes and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections in the indicated species.
