Exonuclease 1 (EXO1) is a member of the RAD2/XPG nuclease family that provides 5'-to-3' exonucleolytic function during mismatch repair, DNA replication fork recovery, meiotic crossover formation, and double-strand break processing. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against the human EXO1 protein and is intended for detection of the endogenous target in Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows. Supplied as a 200 µl liquid in a vial, it can be paired with anti-rabbit secondary antibodies labelled with HRP, biotin, or common fluorophores, allowing laboratories to match detection chemistry to their assay system. The antibody is reactive with human samples and is commonly used in studies of microsatellite instability, hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC/Lynch syndrome) pathways, and the cellular response to replication stress. Because the product is unconjugated, it is also suitable for custom conjugation or for use in multiplex immunolabelling panels where researcher-controlled fluorophore choice is required.
