Raised in rabbit against the ETEA target, also known by the gene symbol ITFG1, this polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied unconjugated in a 100 µl vial. The ETEA protein takes its name from its original identification in T-cells and eosinophils associated with atopic dermatitis, and it is now studied as a modulator of T-cell signalling mapped to the ITFG1 locus.

The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with confirmed reactivity against human samples. The polyclonal format exposes multiple epitopes on the target, which is useful when probing denatured lysates in WB or fixed tissue sections in IHC, where a single monoclonal epitope can sometimes be obscured by fixation chemistry.

Aliquot the antiserum upon receipt and store at -20 °C to preserve antibody titre; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. For short-term working stocks, refrigeration at 4 °C is acceptable. Pair this primary with an HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary matched to the rabbit host, and titrate against a positive control lysate or tissue section known to express ETEA before scaling up the experiment.

Investigators working on atopic dermatitis, eosinophil biology, or T-cell signalling pathways will find this reagent useful for expression profiling, subcellular localisation studies, and confirmatory immunoblotting of candidate interactors in the ETEA/ITFG1 signalling axis.
