Anti-Estrogen Receptor-a (Ab-104) Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com raised against Estrogen Receptor-a (Ab-104) and reactive with Human samples. The unconjugated reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. It was produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the sequence around aa.102–106 (S-V-S-P-S) of human Estrogen Receptor-a, conjugated to KLH, and the antibody was purified by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific peptide. It detects the endogenous level of total Estrogen Receptor-a protein.

The antibody is supplied in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, at 1.0 mg/mL. The product is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
