Anti-ESRRG Antibody

Raised in rabbit against Estrogen-Related Receptor Gamma (ERRγ, also called NR3B3), this unconjugated polyclonal IgG primary antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as 50 µl of neat antiserum and is validated for Western Blot detection of the ESRRG protein in human, mouse, and rat samples.

ESRRG is an orphan member of the nuclear receptor superfamily that acts as a constitutive transcription factor governing mitochondrial biogenesis, oxidative phosphorylation, and energy metabolism. It is highly expressed in metabolically active tissues such as the brain, heart, kidney, and skeletal muscle, and dysregulated ERRγ signaling has been implicated in breast and prostate cancer, type 2 diabetes, and inherited mitochondrial disorders. The antibody is therefore well suited to experiments probing endogenous receptor abundance, isoform expression, and downstream transcriptional responses in whole-cell lysates or tissue homogenates resolved by SDS-PAGE and transferred to nitrocellulose or PVDF membranes for chemiluminescent or fluorescent readout.

Briefly centrifuge the vial before opening and store working aliquots refrigerated at 4 °C for short-term use; for longer-term storage, keep frozen at -20 °C and minimize repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
