Endoplasmic reticulum-resident chaperone protein 29 (ERP29) is a 29 kDa thioredoxin-like folding assistant that supports oxidative maturation and quality control of secretory pathway cargo in the ER lumen, including immunoglobulin heavy chains, thyroglobulin, and other client polypeptides passing through the secretory pathway. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples, making it a flexible tool for studies in cell biology, neuroscience, and oncology where ERP29 expression has been linked to tumor progression, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, and endoplasmic reticulum stress responses. Each vial ships as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum, supplied in a single-use aliquot that should be stored refrigerated and protected from repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity across multiple experiments. The Antibodies.com antibody is raised in rabbit and provided without fluorophore or enzyme label so it can be paired with the user's preferred secondary detection chemistry for chromogenic or fluorescence-based imaging. Researchers investigating unfolded protein response (UPR) signaling, ER-associated degradation (ERAD), or ER stress in disease models can use this reagent to monitor endogenous ERP29 levels in tissue sections and lysates.
