Anti-ERK3 (phospho-S189) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com specifically recognizes ERK3 (also known as MAPK6) when phosphorylated at Ser189 within the kinase activation loop. Ser189 is a constitutive phospho-site unique to this atypical MAPK family member; phosphorylation at this position is required for protein stability, and ERK3 that lacks this modification is rapidly targeted for proteasomal degradation. Because of this, the reagent serves as a reliable indicator of total cellular ERK3 abundance as well as phospho-status.

Validated for Western blot (WB) applications, the antibody shows reactivity against Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, making it broadly useful across common laboratory models. The product is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS containing 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% glycerol, and is provided in unconjugated format to allow flexibility with custom secondary detection chemistries.
