ERK1 (MAPK3) and ERK2 (MAPK1) are serine/threonine kinases of the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) cascade, central to signaling downstream of receptor tyrosine kinases and Ras/Raf/MEK activation. Phosphorylation at the conserved Thr-Glu-Tyr motif activates these kinases, which then modify many cytoplasmic and nuclear substrates involved in cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. This unconjugated rabbit monoclonal antibody is raised against ERK1 + ERK2 and can be used in immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and Western blot workflows across human, mouse, and rat samples.

Supplied by Antibodies.com as a 50 µl vial of IgG isotype antibody, the product supports detection of total ERK1 (~44 kDa) and ERK2 (~42 kDa) protein levels for pathway analysis, signaling studies, and characterization of mitogenic responses. Its unconjugated format permits flexible pairing with user-selected secondary antibodies and custom labeling. Refrigerate the vial upon arrival; for longer-term storage, aliquot and freeze to protect activity across multiple freeze-thaw cycles. For research use only.
