Anti-ERK1/2 (T202/Y204) Antibody

Raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent, this unconjugated primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets the phosphorylated ERK1/2 MAP kinase pair at threonine 202 and tyrosine 204, the canonical activation-loop residues phosphorylated by the upstream MEK1/2 kinases. Supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (pH approximately 7.2) with 15 mM sodium azide as a microbial preservative, each vial contains 100 µl of liquid formulation.

Validated specifically for Western blot (WB) applications, the antibody recognizes endogenous ERK1 (and the closely related ERK2) in lysates prepared from human, mouse, and rat samples. The unconjugated format leaves the choice of HRP, fluorophore, or biotin secondary detection open, which is useful when the same target is run on both chemiluminescent and multiplex fluorescent Western workflows.

Storage and handling: keep the vial refrigerated and do not freeze. With sodium azide present as a preservative, the reagent tolerates typical short-term bench use. Aliquot only when the working volume is small, as repeated freeze-thaw cycles are not recommended for polyclonal preparations.
