Anti-ERK1/2 (phospho-Y204) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against ERK1/2 and recognises the phosphorylation site at Tyrosine 204. It is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) applications, and reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples. The reagent is supplied unconjugated, with the host species being rabbit and the clonality polyclonal.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human ERK1/2 around the phosphorylation site of Tyrosine 204, and the antibody detects endogenous levels of ERK1 protein when phosphorylated at Tyr204 and ERK2 protein when phosphorylated at Tyr187. The target protein is ERK1, with an observed molecular weight of ~ 42,44 kDa. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE). It is formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.
