Anti-ERK1/2 (phospho-T202/Y204) Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this is a rabbit polyclonal primary antibody that specifically recognises ERK1 and ERK2 proteins when phosphorylated at threonine 202 and tyrosine 204. Raised in rabbit and purified by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, the unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

The reagent has been validated for use in Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human ERK1/2 around the phosphorylation site of threonine 202/tyrosine 204. According to the manufacturer, the antibody detects endogenous levels of ERK1 when phosphorylated at threonine 202 and tyrosine 204, and ERK2 when phosphorylated at threonine 185 and tyrosine 187, with a reported molecular weight of ~42,44 kDa and purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
