ERK1 (Extracellular signal-Regulated Kinase 1), also known as MAPK3, is a ~44 kDa serine/threonine kinase that sits at the bottom of the canonical RAS–RAF–MEK–ERK signal transduction cascade. This primary antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against ERK1, supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antisera for use in Western blot, immunofluorescence, and ELISA workflows.

The antibody recognizes the ERK1 target across Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, making it useful for comparative studies in cell lines, primary cultures, and tissue lysates where phosphorylation state and total expression of ERK1 are being characterized. Because it is unconjugated, it can be paired with HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-labeled secondary reagents to suit chemiluminescent imaging, fluorescence microscopy, or plate-based detection setups.

Polyclonal reactivity provides broad epitope coverage, which is helpful when probing for total ERK1 levels or when phospho-specific detection is not required. Keep refrigerated and aliquot on arrival to limit freeze-thaw cycles; small working aliquots preserve antibody activity over extended use. Intended for research use only in signaling, cancer biology, neuroscience, and inflammation studies where the MAPK pathway is under investigation.
