Anti-ERK 1 / 2 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes ERK1 (MAPK3) and ERK2 (MAPK1), the canonical serine/threonine kinases that sit at the core of the RAS-RAF-MEK-ERK signalling cascade. The antibody is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA workflows. On Western blots, it detects the characteristic ERK1 and ERK2 bands at approximately 44 kDa and 42 kDa, respectively, making it useful for pathway activation studies, phospho-ERK correlation experiments, and total-ERK loading controls. In immunohistochemistry, it labels cytoplasmic and, in some contexts, nuclear ERK staining in normal and tumour specimens.
