ERG (ETS-Related Gene) is a transcription factor central to endothelial cell identity, vascular development, and a range of hematological and solid tumors. Aberrant ERG expression, often driven by TMPRSS2-ERG gene fusions, is widely used as a diagnostic and prognostic marker in prostate carcinoma, and elevated ERG activity is also reported in Ewing sarcoma and acute myeloid leukemia.
