This recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody targets ERG (ETS-Related Gene), a member of the ETS family of transcription factors that plays a central role in vascular development, angiogenesis, and hematopoietic regulation. Supplied as an unconjugated reagent in a 50 µl volume in 1×TBS (pH 7.4) with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative, the antibody is validated for Western blot, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples.

ERG is widely used in pathology and vascular biology as a sensitive nuclear marker of endothelial differentiation, supporting studies of tumor microvasculature density, vascular injury response, and angiogenic signaling. Its frequent involvement in prostate cancer, where the TMPRSS2-ERG gene fusion is one of the most common genomic alterations detected in clinical cohorts, makes ERG immunostaining a useful adjunct in prostate tumor diagnosis and subtyping. Antibodies.com provides this reagent within its Primary Antibodies catalog, and the recombinant monoclonal format supports reproducible, lot-consistent staining in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections as well as in cell-based immunofluorescence and immunoblotting experiments.
