Anti-ERCC2 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against ERCC2 (also known as XPD), a DNA helicase subunit of the general transcription and DNA repair factor IIH complex, and is intended for the detection of endogenous levels of the target protein. The antibody is supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl volume, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4 with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, and is provided as an unconjugated preparation suitable for direct labeling in user-optimized workflows. It was generated in rabbit by immunization with a recombinant human ERCC2 protein and subsequently purified by affinity chromatography on the immunogen, yielding a polyclonal antibody that is well-suited to Western blotting (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) experiments on human and rat samples. Each lot is shipped refrigerated at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon receipt and stored long term at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
