Anti-ERBB4 Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal antibody targets ErbB4/HER4 and is validated for Western blot (WB) applications. The unconjugated IgG reagent reacts with rat samples and is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal.

The antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 1150–1250 of human ErbB4/HER4 (NP_005226.1), with the immunogen sequence YMTPMRDKPKQEYLNPVEENPFVSRRKNGDLQALDNPEYHNASNGPPKAEDEYVNEPLYLNTFANTLGKAEYLKNNILSMPEKAKKAFDNPDYWNHSLPPR. The target protein has a molecular weight of 147 kDa, and the reagent is purified by affinity chromatography. It is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Concentration is reported as lot specific.

For Western blot, the recommended dilution range is 1:500–1:2,000. A representative validation image shows detection of rat brain extracts at 1:1,000 dilution, with lysates loaded at 25 µg per lane, a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L HRP secondary at 1:10,000, 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST as blocking buffer, and an ECL Basic Kit with a 90s exposure.
