Phosphorylation of ERBB3 (HER3) at tyrosine 1328 is a key event in HER family receptor signaling, marking activation of downstream PI3K/AKT pathways that drive proliferation, survival, and therapeutic resistance in many solid tumors. This rabbit polyclonal IgG is raised against a phosphorylated epitope surrounding Y1328 of human ERBB3, allowing researchers to specifically detect the activated, signaling-competent form of the receptor rather than total protein levels.

Antibodies.com supplies the reagent at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline, pH approximately 7.3, with 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative. Each pack contains 100 µl of unconjugated antibody, suitable for direct labeling or for use with secondary detection systems in Western blot workflows. Validation has been performed on Human and Mouse samples, making the reagent applicable to translational studies that compare signaling outputs in patient-derived cell lines and murine disease models.

Investigators studying HER2-directed therapy resistance, NRG1/HRG-driven tumor growth, or compensatory ERBB3 reactivation following EGFR inhibition can use the phospho-Y1328 specificity to track receptor activation over time and across treatment conditions. Aliquot upon first use to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the stock solution, store refrigerated for short-term handling, and freeze in working aliquots for longer-term storage to preserve phospho-epitope recognition across repeated experiments.
