Anti-ErbB2/HER2 Antibody

A polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com, targeting ErbB2/HER2 when phosphorylated at Tyrosine 1221 and 1222. The antibody is unconjugated and validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, and it reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human ErbB2/HER2 around the phosphorylation site of Tyrosine 1221/1222. According to the manufacturer's specificity statement, the antibody detects endogenous levels of ErbB2/HER2 protein only when phosphorylated at Tyr1221 and Tyr1222. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. The product is provided at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The reported molecular weight of the target is approximately 138,185 kDa.
